Scarpetta Selects pointOne

Scarpetta, founded by Italian food lovers and friends Uberto Jasson D’Oria and Patrick Philion has selected an ‘app’ driven EPoS solution from pointOne to support its new italian casual QSR restaurant concept.

A key differentiator for Scarpetta is its artisanal approach to fast food with pasta being made freshly on its site each day, observed by customers whilst they choose and await their food to go.

Master Chef Pierluigi Sandonnini is the culinary genius behind Scarpetta’s lovingly prepared menu and trained under the auspices of three Michelin starred Chef Gualtiero Marchesi and Michelin-starred Federico Coria in his native Italy.

Scarpetta pride themselves on using durum wheat flour (the highest in protein content) that is freshly milled upon order using granite stone mills at low temperature, which ensures maximum flavour and nutritional value. 

With its carefully prepared seasonal menus, Scarpetta offers freshly made pasta dishes, focaccia and ciabatta sandwiches, salads, soups as well as a wide selection of fresh bakery delights and fabulous tasting coffee.
